  • Yes. All On The Salt adventures, cruises, and custom boat days are 100% private charters. The boat and captain are reserved exclusively for your group, no shared trips, no strangers.

    Occasionally you can participate in a shared charter, those are clearly marked and the fees are spilt between guests.

  • Your day is fully customizable. Depending on conditions and timing, you can cruise the coastline, catch the Blue Angels in action, spot dolphins, island hop, enjoy sandbar stops, or mix in light fishing, all in one trip.

  • No. That’s the difference with On The Salt. Our adventures are flexible and guest driven. Your captain will help shape the day based on your interests, weather, and water conditions.

  • Yes. Our charters are great for families, couples, groups, and first time boaters. We tailor the pace and activities to your group’s comfort level.

  • We offer multiple pickup and drop off locations throughout Pensacola, using six local boat ramps. Your exact location is confirmed after booking based on your trip and conditions.

  • Trip length varies by charter type. Some adventures are shorter and relaxed, while others are full day experiences like Crab Island or fully custom boat days. Details are listed on each charter page.

  • All adventures and cruises include:
